| The very successful brand manager often has to cope with the rigours of fame and fortune. We spoke with famous TV doctor, Dr Vanderlittle about dealing with some of this added stress.
“Psychologists in L.A often talk about the thin line between fame and shame. The flip side of public celebration is public humiliation. In a similar way to Hollywood stars, you become acutely aware of this stress as your fame grows. However, unlike a Hollywood star, you are usually a little more prepared to deal with it. Always remember you have achieved something tangible and your legacy is not built on public opinion but on actual skill and real achievement. When you are faced with the spotlight and you’re feeling nervous, just remember you are bigger than this. You are a conqueror. An invincible force. You are a very successful brand manager.”
